ECOFNB commits to protect your personal information. This Privacy policy is about the personal details we further collect from you. It is integral that you have a comprehensive understanding of our personal information, collection and usage practices. It explains how we further use your personal information.

Information about ECOFNB

In this privacy notice, references to “ECOFNB”, “we” or “us” or “our” are made to VIABLE HOSPITALITY.

Scope of our Privacy Policy 

This policy applies to anyone who interacts with us in relation to our products and services, via any channel (e.g. website, app, email, message, etc). We may give you additional privacy notices if required for specific interactions.

While using the terms like Homestays, Agrostays, Farmstays or Organic Stays or Organic Resorts/Green Stays or any other such accommodation* they will be regarded as “ECOSTAYS”.

For any other such accommodation, it includes Camp sites, Guest Houses, Hostels, Eco-lodges/lodges, Jungle/tree houses, Inn, Resorts, etc.

ECOFNB protects your privacy

By using our Website/App and/or making Bookings, you are deemed to have read, acknowledged and accepted all the provisions stated herein this Privacy Policy, including any changes that we may make from time to time. This policy is effective from 1^st November, 2020.

In summary, while you should read each provision in this Privacy Policy, you note that by using our Website/App and/or making Bookings:

You agree that if you disclose your Personal Information to us, we may create a database record about you;

If you register on our Website, make Bookings, download any materials or conduct any other transaction, you agree for us to collect any Personal Information necessary to provide you with the service  you have requested, and you agree that such Personal Information may be disclosed to service partners (who may be third parties) for those purposes;

You agree for us to use cookies on your browser (unless you remove them);

You agree that we can contact you with information about products and services which may be of interest to you (unless you have stated you do not wish to receive these communications); and

Your continued use of our Website/App and/or by continually making Bookings indicates your agreement with any future changes in this Privacy Policy.

Obtaining your personal information and its usage

We obtain your personal information from you or others who prefer to book accommodation for you.

Where you provide us with information about yourself and other individuals (e.g. the names of others with whom you will stay at the booked accommodation), you must ensure that they have understood our terms of this privacy policy.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

• Internal Record-keeping.
• We may use the information to improve our products and services.
• We may periodically send promotional emails about new products/services, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
• From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the Website/App according to your interests.

We process your personal information for a number of legitimate reasons, including providing you with ECOFNB services, administering our relationship with you, for service/product improvement purposes and in order to exercise our rights or handle claims. Sharing your information

We share your information within the ECOFNB (and its associated staff) and with others who help us provide services to you (e.g. your accommodation provider). We also share your information in accordance with the law. We share your information for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, with the following categories of recipients:

• Other members/staff of ECOFNB;
• With Partners/accommodation managers to enable them to provide the services you request, e.g. we share your name and expected check-in time;
• The general public, if you submit content in a public forum, such as blog comments, social media posts, or other features of our services that are obviously viewable by the general public. For example, you may choose to use social sharing features and related tools which let you share your ECOFNB experience with other apps, sites, or media, and vice versa.
• Third parties where we have a duty to or are permitted to disclose your personal information by law (e.g. law enforcement officials, government authorities);
• With the police in the exercise of their functions or with others as required by a court order;
• Third parties where we (or any member(s) of the ECOFNB ) sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;
• We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information as required by information protection laws.

Security

We are committed to ensure you that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Retention of Information

Ecofnb will retain your Personal Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your information to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and
enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Ecofnb will also retain Usage Information for internal analysis purposes. Usage Information is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this information is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this information for longer time periods.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports app/Website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
