Away from the hustle-bustle of city life, right amidst nature, one would find peace and tranquility in this place. One can enjoy the amazing views of the Himalayas right in the front, or wander in pine forest trails just behind the place.
A day here starts with the chirping of mountain birds and the afternoons can be spent lazing around the riversides. Since homestay is right inside a village, one can experience the true Kumaoni culture. Right from how the locals dress, to enjoying fresh food, farming, and further to witnessing Kumaoni festival celebrations.
The villagers are friendly and welcoming and once can enjoy long chit-chats with them. The evenings can be spent around warm bonfires or watching a spellbindingly beautiful moon riding the mountains. And on a clear night, one can gaze at the hundreds of stars across the sky!

Guest Policy• Unmarried couples allowed

• Passport, Aadhar, Govt. ID and Driving License are accepted as ID proof(s)
• PAN Card is not accepted as ID proof(s)
• Local ids are allowed
• No parties or events allowed on the premises
• Separate charges for use of blowers, Separate charges for gas cylinder, utensil washing, clothes washing.
• Rooms cleaned every alternate day.
• Smoking is allowed
• Since it is in the village so guests are not allowed to party beyond 10 pm in summers and 9 pm in winters.
• Washing of clothes is not allowed except undergarments. Guest who stays more than 7 days washing machine is provided, once in a week, to launder their clothes. This service is chargeable during the months of April, May, and June as water scarcity is there. Nominal laundry charges depend upon the size, the number of clothes. Since water is scarce in hill area washing clothes in bathrooms are not allowed
• This is a homestay and as per house rules, a guest has to keep the things, after using them, in a neat and clean manner. And place the things, after use, at the place where they were before
• Remain polite and considerate towards your hosts and staff.
• Kindly discuss with the host before booking any taxi/ travel. The host can get you more information.
• Kindly inform about meals at least 2 hours prior.
• Kindly utilize water preciously.
• Kindly use only 1 electrical heavy load at a time ( Geyser/ Blower/ Dryer/ Microwave)
• Kindly respect local customs and laws
• Don't play loud music or any other activity which can create disturbance to others.
• Don't consume alcohol in common areas or during the daytime.
• Kindly switch off electrical appliances when not in use.
• Don't Go out without letting your hosts where you are going, and when you will be back.
• Don't stay out very late at night, homestay is closed post-2200 hrs.
• Don't Take things from the property without asking first.

• Homestay staff is trained on hygiene guidelines
Cancellation PolicyFor bookings of rooms -
You need to pay the entire amount through booking at ECOFNB of the booking amount as advance to make a booking of rooms.

Between 2 to 7 days of check-in date 50% advance amount
Less than 2 days of check-in date 100% advance amount
On the date of check-in
In case you do not show up at the Ecostay, no refund is applicable on the booking.

You can cancel your booking using our website. You can also call us on +91 7078877002 or mail us at info@ecofnb.in to cancel your booking. The applicable refund amount will be credited to you within 7-14 working days.
